Cambio W101 V2 Touch Panel Driver

Hi, if i could find my original post (from last week sometime) then i could thank whoever for the advice.anyways, just an update for anyone who has, or is thinking about installing 7 on their Acer laptop. The latest ATI drivers work fine with the machines ATI HD3650 card. The audio does have 2 sets of drivers.Realtek HD and another Realtek driver (??) but something is working correctly as the audio is as good as it 'originally' was when used with it's native OS.

The fingerprint reader now works, although i think it probably always did and i just didnt know how to set-up, but like i said, it works. Bluetooth works. Wi/Fi worked straight from install so no changed there. My media-centre-console thing does nothing still and i cannot find ANY drivers for this, even for vista!! Where on earth are they?? Thats another matter mind. Turbo memory?

Well, tried that and it seemed to install fine, but only when i changed the compatibility mode at install, however every time the machine rebooted afterwards, i got a prompt to install something (even though it had already did so.) so i uninstalled this particular driver and will wait for a 'proper' one instead. My acer crystal view webcam still doesnt work and i have tried every conceivable driver in every conceivable compatibilty mode, 'camera not found' windows reports every time, so i guess that will also have to wait till acer (or microsoft??) release a compatible driver.but it is only a webcam and for me has only novelty value anyway.but of course, i still want the thing to function. Battery gauge can act a bit drunk at times, and the OS does seem to inhibit internet use for no apparent reason (this IS odd) but a week past and pretty much everything works, so there you have it. Any suggestions about that web-cam would be desirable and I hope any of this is of help to anyone embarking on installing this OS in their acer machines.

Hey, I have the 6920g, and my webcam works fine. It's quite possible it's because I'm running a dual boot with vista and 7. I know i did nothing with the updates, unless it was automatic. I ran the beta after about a week of it coming out, and I've switched to RC1. I know i didn't help with a solution, but at least we know it's possible.

Has anyone found a way to get the side touch control panel thing working?? The volume works, as well as mute, which is expected, but the rest of the controls don't. This was never a perfect device with vista either.

Also, what do i do about the freakin' fan? It's always on.
