Goldcut Vinyl Cutter Drivers
JohnJ, Welcome to the forum. Sorry for the long post that follows. I don't have that cutter - One suggestion - tell what steps you are doing to send the cut to the machine - and what results (or lack of results) you see. Any error messages? - does the cutter respond with any movement - even if it is wrong? I think the trouble lies in getting the computer communicating with the cutter - is that right? If you can post the directions you are using someone might be able to clarify the steps for you - as it stands we are all willing to help - just a little in the dark as to what the actual problem is.

Below I respond to each of your comments - hopefully it is helpful. Thanks for comments. 1, No haven't installed 'Make the cut', don't know what it is.
This forum is named for a terrific design and cutting program called Make-theCut! Download the free trial and install it - it won't correct the setup problem you are experiencing by itself - I think your settings may be off - once they are right and the cutter is working try your artcut program and then try Make-the-Cut! 2, If I go to StartPrinters & faxes the plotter is listed. This is probably where something is not yet set correctly on your computer. This is NOT where paupau04 was asking you to look - she is talking about the print command inside Make-the-Cut!
3, In Artcut if I go to FilePrint it takes me to my printer, no option to check 'Wire frame'. I don't use Artcut - again the suggestion to look there was specifically for Make-the-Cut! Program which include the ability to 'cut' with a lot of different cutters by using the print command and sending only the wireframe shapes (basically the outlines of all the objects in the image - no fills - no colors - just the commands to make the cutter head move around the desired path and the blade drop and raise at the right places to make the cut) For this to work your computer must be communicating with the cutter - from your question I don't think that is the case yet. 4, Thanks for the link HellieOh, going to try with the Signblazer software, will post back.
JohnJ - asking the question about setup for this cutter on that forum might be a good idea. The company sells it and there are bound to be users on the forum who have gone through the setup and can help you find the snag in your setup.
When you get it working come back here and check out and buy Make-the-Cut! It will be the best money you ever spend on software of any kind!!

I have just had to buy a new computer due to a hard drive failure, unfortunately I cannot find the driver disk for my Goldcut JK series cutter.
Vinyl Cutter Starter Kit - USCutter MH 28', 34' Or 50' Models
I went on to Lovecut site and downloaded it from there, but the driver file is incomplete as it is missing the.inf file. After spending 2 hours or so searching the net I have been unable to find the driver anywhere else, so I am hoping there is some kind person on here that can help me out by kindly posting the drivers for me to download, before I lose the plot completely and launch the cutter out of the window.
Many thanks in advance for any help received. I have windows 7, and am running on 64 bit operating system. I have finally managed to setup the goldcut jk series cutter/plotter that i purchased from lovecut last year!!! I put in the cd and it just keeps saying 'the inf file you have selected does not support this method of installation' i thought it might have been a cd issue so i wrote to lovecut who forwarded me to the site where i downloaded the file again, with the same results. Its not an amazing laptop but is wiped and rebooted every so often to help stop anything major going wrong with it. So am i going mad or would this definitely be a computer issue??
